Our Mission
The Ivy Magazine's mission is to inspire a generation of thinkers and changemakers by promoting thoughtful storytelling, unbiased reporting, and meaningful dialogue, with a vision to becoming a leading print publication. We want to tackle the issue of dwindling attention spans in the modern world, by reviving print media.
Our Teams
The Ivy is kept running through 6 key teams and an executive council.
Executive Council
The Executive Council, which comprises the core leadership of The Ivy, led by our Editor-in-Chief and supported by the sub-Editor-In-Chief, steers our magazine's vision while maintaining its journalistic excellence. Our Executive Council consists of Deetya, our President and Editor-In-Chief and Alifia, our Vice President.
Social Media
The Social Media team serves as our digital storytellers, crafting content across platforms to make sure our stories reach and resonate with readers wherever they are. Led by Sreejoyee and Aanya, quick-thinking students whose focus on effective and well-planned work makes our Social Media team effective.
Content Writing
Our Content Writing team is a driven group of student journalists who tackle all written material for our magazine, specializing in both long-form articles and shorter pieces. Led by our content writing heads Soha and Arya, their diverse writing expertise ensures our publication delivers relevant, well-researched content that resonates with our student readership.
Photography
The Photography team captures the visual narrative of our publication through compelling images. This skilled group of photographers documents different events, creates editorial portraits, and produces creative photo essays that complement our written content. Marisa and Tanishka, budding photographers and the team leads ensure a creative outlet for others.
Graphic Design
The Graphic Design team brings stories to life through bold visuals, crafting the magazine's distinctive style through layouts, illustrations, and digital artwork. Shruthika, our lead has a knack for knowing what looks visually pleasing together and work relentlessly to ensure the graphic design team flourishes.
Visuals
The Visuals team unites our photographers, graphic designers, and digital artists to craft the magazine's distinct look. They create everything from stunning photo spreads to dynamic page layouts and eye-catching illustrations. Our lead, Mira, uses her artistic abilities to ideate and bring to life visuals for our publication.
Project Management
Our Project Management team, led by Srushti, is the hidden force behind the magazine, they conduct the project management and ensure that all teams stay on route, maximising their potential.

issue 4: kindlingKinding explores something quintessential to human life; the motivations that drive people to work, persist, and push forward.
However, kindling is something of a double edged sword. A fire can grow from a hopeful spark, a flame that keeps you warm, that gives you strength. However, if unchecked, the flames could rise too high. The smoke becomes suffocating, toxic, creating a fire that consumes more than it warms. Monsoon, Spring, Autumn and Winter, shown through a curated collection from 4 different magazines, each representing 1 season. The Ivy's section, Monsoon, represents ache and abundance intertwined, exploring how release is the only option in overwhelm. The Ivy’s first mini issue, Sweet tooth lingers in the aftertaste- where confections become confessions, and the line between pleasure and pain melts like sugar on the tongue. Within you’ll find a cookbook with recipes laced with disaster- from the sugar-highs of love and ambition to the slow rot of overindulgence. In these pages, sweetness is never simple: it comforts, corrupts, and calls you back for one more bite.
